Pregnancy and acne
All pregnancies are filled with nine months of different feelings and emotions . It’s completely natural to have all these feelings during your pregnancy , these are due to change in hormone levels.

There is a lot of changes that occur in a woman’s body during pregnancy so don’t get perturbed if you notice acne during pregnancy. Don’t worry ! The acne generally goes away after the child birth, as hormone levels are back to normal . However in the mean time you can do few things to keep acne at bay.
Drink plenty of water as it will hydrate your body and skin, keep you feeling fresh, and it's good for your baby. Water flushes impurities out of your body. Drink plenty of natural juices as this will aid you in your fight against acne during pregnancy.

Avoid soda and coffee in your diet as Caffeine is known to promote acne during pregnancy, cause headaches, and excite your unborn baby.
Stress too, is also a contributor of acne during pregnancy. If you're feeling overwhelmed take a time-out for yourself and relax yourself through activities such as walking , reading , listening to good music and meditation. Not only these help you relax but are positive stimulations for you and your baby.
Food cravings in Pregnant women is quite common and the choice of food may differ from person to person . While some women crave for raw vegetables others may want cheeseburgers, fried stuff etc. Pay attention to your food cravings and don’t give in to your cravings and eat healthy food in a timely manner .
A word of CAUTION - DON’T use any kind of pill, cream, product on your body to fight acne unless directed by a doctor. Keep yourself and your baby safe by adhering to this recommendation. Once your pregnancy is over, and you have a lovely child, it would wise to search for an anti-DHT solution to address your skin or consult a dermatologist.
